We are extremely excited to bring you the Community Garden Collection.
While starting a brand that is "community oriented" you are met with the challenges similar to those of a small fish in the ocean. In the sense that almost anywhere you look you see shining examples of community and nearly everyone faces similar challenges usually fiscally. Funding is the cornerstone of keeping truly benevolent local initiatives alive/off of life support. Obviously any state or federally funded causes are at the complete mercy of law makers and current local administration, which is more red tape than I would cast upon my worst enemy.
In the past few month my schedule has aligned a few times with being able to volunteer at a local community garden usually turning compost or digging holes. When I realized this is the perfect place to start. Community gardens provide so much value to the people around them and rely on minimal funding and a lot of volunteer work. The goal of this collection is to hopefully shine a light on a cause we think does only good for the world, while being able to donate a percentage of proceeds directly back to organizations that manage and upkeep these garden.
